All the calico on we offer is done by hand, just as it was done over 200 years ago.  The printing is done with wooden blocks from India.  The color is added by hand.  The fabric is linen, fustain ( linen/cotton blend) or cotton.  This is a time consuming process, and because of the handwork involved, each piece is one of a kind.  The cloth is sold as yardage ready to make into clothing, or as finished bandannas.  The dyes and paints that are used are color-fast so they will not washout.  This is as close as you can get to 17th and 18th century calico cloth.  All of the designs that we us are of a stlye and type that was avaliable at that time.

All of the bandannas are made in one yard squares.  Any of the bandanna partterns can also be made up in the form of yardage.  Yardage price is $15.00 to $30.00 per yard depending on the type of fabric used.  Please write for specific information. The pieces of fabric are named according to the blocks used to print them.
